Matthew E. Luallen is the Chief Executive Inventor of IntelliGenesis, LLC. He leads the company in further developing and expanding training services to enhance the understanding of, and provide protection from, cyber-physical threats. IntelliGenesis acquired CybatiWorks™ where Luallen served as a Co-Founder of CYBATI. He also served as a Co-Founder of Dragos Security co-developing CyberLens™ for Operational Technology device and communications discovery and analysis. He was a Co-Founder of Encari, a NERC CIP cybersecurity consulting firm helping the US and Canadian power grid defend strategic assets from cyber-physical attacks. He was an Information Security Network Engineer and Architect at Argonne National Laboratory.
Andy Reeder currently serves as Associate Vice President for HIPAA Privacy and Security for Rush University Medical Center and associated facilities in the Chicago area. In his role, Andy provides leadership in achieving information protection regulatory compliance with major responsibilities including response and investigation into HIPAA privacy incidents; HIPAA privacy and security compliance; coordination of patient privacy rights actions; and policy development. Andy has also served as the Director, Information Security at another major regional medical facility; as a Senior Manager at a large professional services firm; and held positions with various organizations supporting the defense and intelligence industries. Michael Phillips is the Co-Founder of vSEC, LLC and Owner of Luminant Group, LLC where he specializes as a virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO). Michael is also an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University College of Computing and Digital Media where he teaches multiple courses in the master’s curriculum including Information Security Management and Information Systems Auditing. Currently serves as the Head of the Judges Committee for the Chicago Area CISO of the Year Program and is an active member of FBI InfraGard, High Tech Crime Consortium, & USSS Chicago Electronic Crimes Task Force. Formerly the Executive Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Data Privacy Officer (DPO) at Rosenthal Collins Group, LLC. Between 2000 and 2006 he served as Assistant Vice President & Information Security Officer (ISO) of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Prior to this role, Michael served as Director of Information Security for the Americas with UBS, a global investment bank providing financial services in over 50 countries. Michael received his first Degree from DeVry Institute of Technology, a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Computer Sciences from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwestern’s, Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He also holds the C|CISO, CISSP, CISA, NSA IAM Certifications and serves on the Advisory Board of the National Introducing Brokers Association (NIBA), Wealthblock.AI and the Illinois Digital Privacy Alliance. He also serves as a Strategic Advisor for OCA Ventures, an early stage (Seed, Series A, and Series B) venture capital firm.
Ryan Haley is currently a Cloud Security Engineer at Google. Prior to this, Mr. Haley worked in adversary simulation, mimicking real world threats in order to test defense and response capabilities as well as a Security Engineer specializing in Network and Enterprise Security Solutions across various industries, including Government, Petroleum, and Retail. He has a strong background in network security and advanced offensive and defense techniques. Ryan graduated from DePaul with a M.S. in Computer, Information, and Network Security with minors in Computer Science, Finance, and Network Engineering. He holds several certifications, including OSCP.
Chad Gough is the owner and founder of 4Discovery. He leads the company in providing digital forensics and incident response services to clients nationwide. In his role, Chad is a sought-after expert witness and has provided expert testimony on cases involving: trade secret theft, intellectual property misappropriation, corporate espionage, fraud/embezzlement, insider trading, software piracy, and employee misconduct.
